The Washington Football Team hosts the Seahawks on Monday night. While Washington has played better of late, the Seahawks continue to spiral, losing five of their past six. The Football Team heads into Monday’s matchup as short favorites at several Las Vegas sportsbooks with totals settling into the 46.0-46.5 range. These aren’t the best game conditions for an exciting NFL DFS shootout, but there is still a top prize regardless, and our Week 12 FanDuel single-game lineup will shoot for just that.
Here are the notable scoring settings for FanDuel’s single-game contests: The point total for the “MVP” is multiplied by 1.5, but he doesn’t cost any additional money like the “Captain” in DraftKings Showdown contests. FanDuel’s default scoring is half-point PPR and four-point passing TDs, and there are no bonuses for 300-yard/100-yard games like on DraftKings.

FanDuel Single Game DFS Picks: Seahawks vs. Washington
$60,000 budget, need at least one player from each team
MVP (1.5x points) QB Taylor Heinicke, Washington ($14,500)
Heinicke is far from the flashiest name available for the MVP slot, but we like leaning on him as our exposure to the Football Team’s passing game. He’s eclipsed 20.0 FanDuel points in two of his past four games, and even though he only has one rushing touchdown on the season, he offers enough of a threat on the ground to be an enticing option.
FLEX WR DK Metcalf, Seahawks ($13,500)
Metcalf and Tyler Lockett have traded stretches of hot and cold this season, but the duo dominates volume in the Seattle passing attack, combining for 143 targets and 93 receptions. Metcalf has reached double-digit FanDuel points six times and is capable of delivering 100 yards and/or multiple touchdowns.

FLEX WR Tyler Lockett, Seahawks ($12,500)
Everything written about Metcalf applies to Lockett. The latter only has four performances that produced double figures, but three of those contests went over 20.0 points. We’re not going to be able to pinpoint when his eruptions occur, but we’re happy to roll the dice with him in one-off situations.
FLEX RB Antonio Gibson, Washington ($12,000)
Gibson delivered 20.2 FD points in Week 10 coming out of the bye and rushed for 95 yards — a season-high — in Week 11. Unfortunately, zero touchdowns and a fumble hurt the fantasy output. Gibson was removed from the injury report, and it appears as if his shin injury may not be as limiting as it was over the first half. Another 20-plus touches are in the cards for Monday night.
FLEX TE Gerald Everett, Seahawks ($7,500)
Everett hasn’t had the campaign people anticipated when he was drawing preseason sleeper buzz. However, he’s drawn 12 targets over his past two games. That’s a modest total, but it’s the most he’s received over a two-game span. If the Seahawks find success through the air, we should be in good shape with Everett, Metcalf, and Lockett.
