Lamar Jackson and Hollywood Brown had their respective coming out parties in the 2019 season opener in Miami. While it’s a bit unreasonable to expect another 59-10 beatdown on Thursday Night Football to open Week 10, another dominating performance could be on deck. Baltimore opened as 7.5-point road favorites at some Las Vegas sportsbooks, with totals opening as high as 48. That said, we know players on teams that get smashed can still be solid NFL DFS options, so we’re not fading simply fading the Miami offense as much as possible in our Week 10 FanDuel single-game lineup.
Here are the notable scoring settings for FanDuel single-gamers: The point total for the “MVP” is multiplied by 1.5, but he doesn’t cost any additional money like the “Captain” in DraftKings Showdown contests. FanDuel’s default scoring is half-point PPR and four-point passing TDs, and there are no bonuses for 100/300-yard games like on DraftKings.

FanDuel Single-Game DFS Picks: Ravens vs. Dolphins
$60,000 budget, need at least one player from each team
MVP: (1.5x points) QB Lamar Jackson, Ravens ($17,500)
There’s no need to get cute in this spot. Jackson is far too dynamic to move away from as our “MVP.” He put a couple of merely adequate games behind him with 32.64 FanDuel points in Week 9, and another monster performance is on the menu against a Dolphins defense that is poor on virtually every level.
MORE TNF: DK lineup | Start ’em, sit ’em | Tua update
FLEX: WR Marquise Brown, Ravens ($13,500)
Brown received 12 targets on Sunday, giving him 26 over the past two games and at least 10 in three of the past four games. With 25.7 percent of the target share, 66.7-percent catch rate; 14.8 yards per catch; and a team-high six touchdowns, Hollywood’s breakout is happening before our eyes. In other words, Brown is a lock for our lineup.
WEEK 10 DFS LINEUPS: FanDuel | DraftKings | Yahoo
FLEX: TE Mike Gesicki, Dolphins ($12,500)
We’d certainly be higher on Gesicki if Tua Tagovailoa (finger) is under center instead of Jacoby Brissett, but that goes for anyone from the Dolphins’ roster. Gesicki is second on the team in targets and owns a healthy 12.0 yards per catch. Tight ends have had fantasy success against the Ravens this season, so Gesicki could provide solid production in a favorable matchup for him
WEEK 10 DFS: Best stacks | Best values | Lineup Builder
FLEX: RB Devonta Freeman ($10,500)
Freeman is fifth on the Ravens in touches, but he’s been the most efficient veteran back on the roster, averaging 6.1 yards per clip. He’s increased his fantasy output since delivering 5.0 FD points in Week 5 and is currently riding a three-game double-digit scoring streak. With Latavius Murray (ankle) unlikely to play, Freeman will have a good chance of stretching that streak to four in a favorable matchup.
Alternate consideration: Mark Andrews ($13,000) provides more upside than Gesicki, shown by his Week 5 outburst (36.2 FD points). Our decision to roll with Gesicki is about lineup differentiation. If you prefer Andrews, you can roster him while inserting Le’Veon Bell ($9,500) in place of Freeman.
WEEK 10 PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker
FLEX RB Salvon Ahmed ($6,000):
Myles Gaskin appears to have taken grasp of the lead role in the backfield, but it’s hardly a vise grip. Ahmed is third on the team in touches and owns an identical 4.1 yards-per-touch average as Gaskin. Ahmed has proven capable when he receives opportunities, evidenced by 12.3, 15.5, and 21.2 FD performances in 2020
