What time is Terence Crawford vs. Shawn Porter today? PPV schedule, main card start time for 2021 fight

Terence Crawford has not let anyone come close to claiming his WBO welterweight title belt.

He won the belt in a TKO against Jeff Horn on June 9, 2018, and he has retained it with four straight TKOs, with his most recent defense coming on Nov. 14, 2020, against Kell Brook.ย

Shawn Porter is looking to change that. Porter, who once held the WBC welterweight title, will be matched up against his latest challenge in pursuit of reclaiming aย belt on Saturday.

Crawford hasn’t faced a challenger quite to the level of Porter. At 37-0, with 28 knockouts, Crawford has dominated his competition, but he has yet to face one of the top names in boxing as he has ascended to the level where he is now considered one of the top three pound for pound boxers in the world.

Porter has plenty of big names on his resume, that has seen him fight out to a 31-3-1 record with 17 knockouts. He first won the IBF welterweight title in 2013 against Devon Alexander before losing it two fights later in 2014 to Brook. He fought and lost Keith Thurman for the WBA welterweight title in 2016 and won the WBC welterweight belt in 2018 against Danny Garcia, before losing it in a fight with Errol Spence Jr. in a fight for the IBF welterweight in 2019.
