Who plays on ‘Monday Night Football’ tonight? Time, TV channel, schedule for NFL Week 11 game

If Week 11’s “Monday Night Football” matchup feels like a familiar one, that’s because it should. It’s a game that has occurred in each of the last three seasons and was on “Monday Night Football” last season.

The matchup is one between the Buccaneers and the Giants. Tom Brady has a long, storied history against the Giants that includes two of his three Super Bowl losses. He has been great against them in the regular season, but they simply matched up so well against him during both of their postseason meetings.

Brady will want to exact some revenge, even though the last Super Bowl they met in was nearly a decade ago. The Bucs are desperate for a win after dropping back-to-back games for the first time this season. The Giants, meanwhile, are just 3-6 on the season, so they will need to win frequently down the stretch to have any chance of making the playoffs.

Here is everything to know about ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” game for Week 11, including the kickoff timeย and more.

Who plays on ‘Monday Night Football’ย tonight?

  • Matchup: Giants at Buccaneers
  • Location: Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Fla.

The Buccaneers (6-3) are hosting the Giants (3-6) on “Monday Night Football” in Week 11. Tom Brady has an excellent 5-1 regular-season record against the Giants, including a two-point win on Monday night last season, but he has also lost to the Giants twice in the Super Bowl. He is 7-1 in Super Bowls where he doesn’t play against the Giants.

Tampa Bay has lost back-to-back games. They lost by 36-27 against the Saints in Week 8 and were stunned by Washington 29-19 in Week 10. Brady won’t be happy about going winless three straight weeks (even if one was a bye) so he and the offense will be motivated for this one.

The only questions for the Bucs in this one are about the health of Rob Gronkowski and Antonio Brown. Bothย have missed several weeks with nagging injuries. Defensively, the team may be without Vita Vea and also placed cornerback Richard Sherman on IR with an injury.

As for the Giants, they’re coming off a win over the Raiders in Week 9 and a bye in Week 10. They should be well-rested and ready to compete against a Buccaneers team that there offense should match up well with โ€” if healthy. Saquon Barkley could be back this week and Kenny Golladay could be as well. If they play, Daniel Jones could move the ball better than many expect against this defense.

The Giants may not win this one outright, but Brady has only ever beaten them by double digits twice in the eight games he has played against them. That means this one could end up being a tightly contested battle, much like last year’s 25-23 Buccaneers win on “Monday Night Football.”
